Since 2011 · Carmel, Indiana
Turn LEGO into hope for kids in the hospital.
Families, churches, schools and teams have helped us put LEGO sets in the hands of more than 5,500 kids on their hardest days. There are three ways to join in.
Host a service event
Bring a hands-on LEGO project to your team, church or school. We bring the bricks and run the whole thing. Your group builds sets for kids.
Donate your LEGO
New sets or a bin of used bricks. Drop off in Carmel, schedule a pickup around Indy, or ship from anywhere.
Give money
Every gift buys brand-new sets for kids in the hospital. Give by card, Venmo, PayPal or check.
Our story
It started in the LEGO aisle at Target.
In 2011, Ben Glenn, the Chalkguy, took his daughters Christmas shopping and let each of them pick a set they really wanted. Then he told them they were going to wrap it and give it away. There were tears. Then something clicked.
“Giving means giving something you love.”
That year they gave away 2 sets. The next year, about 50. Today it’s thousands.
Service events
Service that builds something lasting.
We handle the planning, the bricks and the delivery. Your group builds, laughs and serves together, and what you make goes straight to kids in local hospitals.
Team Impact
Corporate teams and offsites
A facilitated LEGO service project at your location. A purpose-driven addition to any team gathering.
Community Build Night
Churches, schools and youth groups
Building challenges, friendly competition and room to connect, made for all ages.
Sorting Party
Clubs and small groups
Sort donated LEGO into complete sets, ready to deliver to kids.
Every Christmas since 2011
The Chalkguy Christmas LEGO Drive
Collect LEGO at your school, church or office and help us put new sets in the hands of kids spending Christmas in the hospital.
Only the best will do!
